Dr. Kirstin Weible is excited to be able to offer physical therapy services in the unique setting offered at The Motive where all therapists are experts in their field. Kirstin has been practicing for 10 years. She initially worked as a traveling physical therapist for 5 years, which brought her to Tucson in 2013, and she has since made this her home.
Kirstin achieved her Doctorate of Science (ScD) degree from Texas Tech University after developing a course on evaluation and treatment of cyclists. She has obtained credentials as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) in treatment of the spine, and is currently working towards completing that same qualification for the lower extremity. A longtime endurance athlete, Kirstin's work and practice has been focused on evaluation and treatment methods for cyclists. She has completed the BikePT training course where she began to develop her skills as a bicycle retrofit specialist from the standpoint of not only bike adjustments, but also assessment and treatment of the rider. She completed her Physical Therapy graduate degree at the University of Findlay.
Originally from Northwest Ohio, Kirstin and her partner, Junilla, own a home in Northwest Tucson, and they enjoy hiking, road biking, and mountain biking. Kirstin is looking forward to getting the people of Oro Valley up and riding on their various types of bicycles in a maximally functional and minimally painful condition.
