When it comes to healthcare, we live in uncertain times.

Insurance companies are increasingly “sharing” the cost of care with you, the patient.  Deductibles (the amount you have to pay before insurance kicks in) are rising almost exponentially.  Copays (the amount insurance helps pay each visit) are increasing almost just as fast. If you’ve noticed that you’re being double-booked or getting less time with your doctor or physical therapist elsewhere, you’re not alone.  Insurance companies are also paying less to providers.  This might sound like a great situation if you’re in the health insurance business, but it isn’t so great for any of us actually using health insurance.

At The Motive Physical Therapy Specialists, we want to make your decision a little bit easier.

We are using Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) to track our outcomes and benchmark them against other clinicians across the country using hundreds of thousands of data points.  Whether we’re rock stars in a certain body region or need to hone our skills in another, our data will be publicly available here for both the patients and the clinicians to see.

Why It’s Important: Plain and simple, we believe you get what you pay for.  We are a clinic that prioritizes value, experience, and the end-result and have built ourselves to make those priorities possible.  The data we are collecting will be able to benchmark our clinic’s standing in relation to other clinics, so that you can be absolutely sure that you’ve made the right decision and can focus on your motive—getting back to an active life.

Why No One Else is Doing it: Talk is cheap.  Saying you get the best outcomes is different than proving it.  We’re one of the only clinics in the country that it putting their money where their mouth is.
